During a PRSSA meeting I attended, one thing we went over was how to be professional over social media.
Believe it or not, what you put on the internet isn’t private.
Anyone who knows your name can look you up online and find anything and everything you’ve ever put up on there.
So my tip for you today is to be cautious when posting to social media networks.
Whether you delete a post/picture or not, it’s still going to be searchable or at least still in the NSA’s database.
One thing to remember when posting to a social media site is “When in doubt, don’t.”
If you’re having second thoughts about posting a picture or a status, then you probably shouldn’t post it.
Thanks for reading!
